What is intimacy? How can I nurture this in my relationship with myself, with my partner, with others, and with my community?
Join Bozeman residents Jim and Dee Elle for an introductory journey into intimacy. In this workshop, we will explore what intimacy means to them and to each of us – is it about closeness, is it about communication, is it about self-love, is it about deep knowing, is it about sexuality, is it also about non-sexual relationships?
The short answer is yes; the long answer is far yummier.
Using the three keys of breath, movement, and sound, we will be exploring intimacy as a sacred activity and discovering where we may feel safe or unsafe in expressing it.
You will leave equipped with some foundational tools to start rockin' your most intimately delicious life.
#it'sApractice
And as a practice, you will be invited, if you consent, to join us for various intimacy – that is, communication, movement, and breathing – exercises.
This workshop is completely open and welcoming to couples AND single people, too. No one needs a partner to participate.
Jim and Dee Elle have a passion for intimacy work with each other, themselves, and their community. They often dance (alone, together, and with others) wherever music is playing (and sometimes when it isn't). Jim (who is almost always well-dressed and colorFUL) is a licensed Chakradance facilitator and is working toward a teacher certification in SkyDancing Tantra. You can see him in town at Last Best Comedy taking improv classes and occasionally performing.
Dee Elle loves hosting workshops designed to help us speak our own vibrational language and has written an e-book guide to support emotional release with essential oils and breathwork. She dreams of hula hooping some day on a stage as her son (who is a music producer) rocks some sick beats. She also loves to burn sh*t, go for long walks in the forest, AND soak in hot springs.
Jim and Dee Elle met after many relationships, kids, and varied life experiences. Since meeting, their lives have been consumed with fostering love, affection, and intimacy practice. Now, two infectious people are seeking others who want to spread intimacy into the Gallatin Valley and beyond.
