New Moon Women's Circle

The dark of the Moon is a time for stillness, a place to release what is no longer of service, and a time to observe the ether or fabric of space that is nothing more or less than potential waiting to emerge into manifested substance.  With centered awareness, we can set intentions for the Lunar cycle that begins with New Moon.

Our March 2 New Moon is in Pisces, a water sign, and this lunar cycle will lead up to Spring Equinox, sometimes called Ostara.  Water into Earth, a time to allow the imaginative energy of Pisces to inspire our dreams for the months to come.

After a brief introduction into Mojo Mundi℠, we will sit in stillness, drinking in the nourishing presence of possibility.  Then, as a group, we will join in a simple choreography of traditional West African dance, allowing the dance to energize our Fire and Water Olwyns (energy centers).  We’ll close by sitting again in stillness to feel any messages we may have received.

Please come dressed in comfortable clothing that allows movement.  The dance we will be doing can be rigorous, and low impact options will be presented.  Please be mindful and put self and safety first.  In addition, for those who have physical limitations, dance is not required to benefit from this gathering.  Being in the communal energy and utilizing one’s imagination, intuition, and the music is sufficient to benefit from this sacred time.

By way of introduction, my name is Ginny Watts.  I am a psychotherapist and I have been a World Dancer for most of my life.  I am the creator of Mojo Mundi℠, a unique spiritual practice that utilizes world dance to access, balance, and commune with the energy centers (which I call Olwyns) in our bodies.  Because of our current world challenges, the music for this event will not be live drumming.  My hope is that world healing will allow us to have my drum sisters join us for our next dance party.  I will provide information to participants about where to obtain the music, and I will provide a YouTube video link of our dance combos for participants to accessthroughout the month to continue to receive inspiration.
