Thai Yoga Therapy Workshop w/ Mariah Rees & Amy Raven

In this 3 hour workshop, you will work with a partner (register with one, or find one when you arrive!) to learn a 1-hour Thai bodywork vinyasa, or sequence of therapeutic postures. Explore how proper body mechanics, compression, traction, energy lines, acupressure points, breath, and intention can boost vitality! Each person has the opportunity to learn the techniques and give, as well as relax and receive. Instruction by Amy Raven and Mariah Rees will begin with cultural history and traditional medicine theory before diving into hands-on guidance and practice. This ancient healing art is the practical expression of loving kindness, and harmoniously provides both the giver and receiver with many restorative physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual benefits.
